Being a very well qualified gynecologist of his time, and having worked abroad, he wanted to settle and serve the rural population in the interiors of Goa at that time. He started Mahatme Nursing Home against all odds in 1985 with few resources at his disposal. He is the main driving force behind the ethical practice at Mahatme Nursing Home and ensures that compassionate care is given to all our patients.
